BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE

In 2017, I had been experimenting with using the Instagram stories ‘save’ function to create small animated videos using GIFs, set to snippets of songs. I started uploading them, and named the account WHAT GIFS. Shortly after, I first met Kevin Drew (singer of Broken Social Scene) at a bar one night following a concert we’d both attended. I happened to show him a few of the videos, and the next thing I knew, he was calling me to ask if I could make a video for their new single, Boyfriends. Since then, we’ve been creating videos, social media shorts and promos together, with no signs of slowing down.
